How do I request a medication refill?

- Prescription refills are done Monday – Thursday only.
- If you are needing a refill on your medication you will need to call your pharmacy and have them fax us a refill request to (907)334-6766.
- Once your refill is approved we will fax it back to your pharmacy.  You should confirm with the pharmacy first before picking your prescription up to ensure it is ready.
- Expect up to 24 -48 hours for prescription refills to be processed.  They cannot be done the same day in most cases.
- Certain medications cannot be called into your pharmacy so you may need to pick up a hard copy of the prescription from our office to take to the pharmacy.  In that case please remember to allow 24-48 hours to ensure the doctor is available to write the prescription and to avoid running out of your pain medicine.
- IMPORTANT:  Pain medicine will not be refilled after hours, on Fridays, or on the weekends.  Please plan ahead so you do not run out.  There are no exceptions to this rule.
